How All Round Security are using Social Media Stories in 2020!

The social media age is here to stay. It's inevitable. It's unavoidable.

Towards the end of 2019, All Round Security started to become more present on Social Media, specifically LinkedIn and Twitter, showcasing our works and outlining what services we can offer away from the standard website route most business' stick to. Now in 2020, we have established an in-house Social Media and Marketing Department so we can focus on growth and awareness online. We've decided to take this action not only to further set out our stall of who we are and what we do, but also to allow our teams a platform to showcase their fantastic work. This is where Social Media Stories comes into play.

Instagram and Facebook have had the Story function built into their platform for some time now, whereas LinkedIn and Twitter are still in the design and build stages of integration into their platforms, with launch expected for mid-to-late 2020. To prepare for this launch, we have been testing content that would suit a 24 hour story, and what this will look like design wise.

Through our internal Facebook company group, we have been asking our Mobile Engineers to submit pictures to us from where they are working on any given day. We have been so proud to receive pictures showcasing their fantastic work, and also some company van advertising to go with it like this picture submitted by Nik, our highly skilled Engineer from London. Thank you, Nik!

"I'm so grateful for the efforts of our Engineers, so being able to showcase their work with Social Media Stories is perfect!"

Darren Keegan - Company Director

Along with the picture submission, we have included our company branding with the white pinstripes, our logo, and our motto "The Power To Secure Nationwide". This really stands out on the picture and keeps our branding style constant throughout our content.

We find that including the location of works allows us to show how truly nationwide we are. The week prior to me writing this article we have posted works from London to Falkirk and many other places in-between! This then allows us to produce content such as "Where have we been?" at the end of each week. Content is key and Stories are another outlet for more.

As with all user engagement activities and ventures into new types of content, this is all trial and error. We are very excited to see how LinkedIn and Twitter Stories will look and how we can utilise these platforms more. In the meantime, we are really fired up to continue showcasing our incredible Engineers' work.

Thank you for reading.
